Coming from Onshape
Onshape's tool names and the closest SchoolCAD tool for each.
SchoolCAD is laid out like Onshape: a Part workspace (Onshape's Part Studio) with the feature tree on the left, sketches on the Top, Front and Right planes, and a toolbar of features across the top. Most tools have the same name. This table lists Onshape's names, so you can find the SchoolCAD tool for the same kind of job.

Moving the view like Onshape#
Open Settings (the ⚙ button at the top right) and set the mouse buttons to work like Onshape, so turning, moving and zooming the view feel the same. See Settings.
Onshape's keys#
Choosing Onshape's mouse buttons also sets the keyboard to Onshape's keys: Shift+E Extrude, Shift+S Sketch, Shift+1 to Shift+7 the views, N normal to, P the planes, Y hide, and in a sketch L line, G corner rectangle, M trim and D dimension.
